Is using meloxicam at 2/3rds dose PRN, still has a little bit

Moving well, although mildly short strided in HL gait

P: start pentosan, continue meloxicam PO PRN
Tx: 0.7ml pentosan SC 1/4
Boost in a week

Reason(s): limping
Hx: last week had a big zoomie session at the beach, pulled up moderate lame through HLs.
Over the next few days dog improved before having a little stoush with other dog - then pulled up lame again.
Got mildly aggressive when O feeling back legs
EDUF NAD

Ex: BAR, BCS 5/9
Card and resp WNL
MSk: short gaited through RHL, 2/5 lame
    mod pain response R coxofemoral extension, limited ROM. LH NAD

A: suspect acute on chronic OA/DJD related pain secondary to overexertion. DDx acute ST injury or similar.
P: course of NSAIDs and rest. Can use NSAIDs PRN afterwards. WET therapy for suspected DJD; WET therapy.
    Consider pentosan injs.
    INI/worsens then do HL radiographs.
Rx: meloxicam PO
