Reason: Chewing At Left F PawHistory: Duration last few days. Has limped a bit this morning. Has chewed RF intermittently but no where near frequency of L paw. No scratching ears etc. DUDE all OK.Examination: Mild-moderate calculus. NAD auscultation, NAD abdo palpation. LNs WNL. Muzzled for foot exam as very resentful (friendly for the rest of the exam). LF marked erythema D2-3, moderate D3-4. Draining tract dorsal aspect D2-3, small amount proteinaceous discharge on expression. Unable to examine thoroughly as px very resentful.Laboratory:Pre-GA bloods all WNL.Assessment: Suspect FB, admit to sedate, clip, clean and flush.Treatment: Sedated Medetomidine, Methadone. Muzzle needed for catheter. Clipped cleaned, lidocaine infused and flushed 2 x draining tract, D2-3 and D3-4. 1x partially embedded grass awn removed from D3-4, 6 x fully embedded grass awns removed from D2-3.Dressing applied, discussed dressing care.Plan:Bandages & Dressings: Apply Bandage to Site: LF paw. - Meloxicam - Recheck Monday.
