Kidneys: Normal location and shape.Bladder/Prostate: No significant findings.Steve at bitrads evaluation: Conclusion: Intermittent gastric malposition consistent with partial gastric volvulus with persistent gastric distension and concurrent moderate to marked mid-abdominal loss of serosal detail.DDx: Intermittent gastric dilatation-volvulus, acute pancreatitis with secondary gastric ileus and transient torsion, splenic mass, septic peritonitis, gastric outflow obstruction.Assessment: Cody has minimal interest in food, he has regurgitated in hospital. Nasogastric tube suctioned significant amount of fluid despite he has not eaten or no feed has been giving via the tube. Reviewed radiographs taken at primary care veterinarian which we are concerning about the gas filled intestines. A repeat radiograph is recommended, can start nasogastric feeding if no obstructive pattern observed as well as prokinetics.Treatment:Refer to smartflowPlan:Continue hospitalisation and care until stable to be discharged home.
