Nails are long. There is a little lump that first appeared in November and has grown. Not bothered by it. DUDE ok. No v/d. O considering plate removal as separate surgery. No other concerns. <br><br>Exam: BAR, sweet boy<br>Ears clear no inflam or discharge<br>Nose clear no inflam or discharge<br>Eyes clear no hyperaemia, epiphora or bleph<br>mm pink CRT 1 sec<br>HR: 110<br>thoracic ausc: nad, lung sounds clear, no murmurs or arrhys<br>abdomen: soft and comfortable no masses on palp<br>MSK ambulating 4/4, no imping, no corns. Plate visible under skin on RHL.<br>Skin: One 0.5cm subcut mass on the left shoulder. <br>Diagnosis: plate irritation, subcut mass<br><br>Treatment: <br>- Took blood for 621 for pre GA<br>- Trimmed nails<br>- Cytology of mass on shoulder revealed keratinous debris, suspect sebaceous cyst<br><br>Plan:<br>- Any vet to report pre AG bloods<br>- MC to get estimate for plate removal with AV and send to O<br>- O to book in procedure at earliest convenience, remind to bring in fasted<br>- o to monitor lump and if frequent reoccurrence / irritation consider removal<br>- O happy with plan</p></html>

Owner reports he is doing well - has noticed the toes stick up a lot since sx, asked if this is normal - advised it is. Also asked if it will normalise over time, advised unlikely - his toes will likely always look like this. Also advised to monitor the nails on these toes as will not wear down naturally.Removed sutures from between toes and on pad. All healed, advised can resume normal activity now.
