Reason: Sedation,rads, Clean Wound +/- Bloods Kel TBCSee previous consult for history etc. Sedated with 0.15mL zoletil initially IM, not very sedated on this.  Topped up with 0.05mL IV and better but still a bit wriggly but able to do procedure.  Gave 0.2mL temgesic IV to assist and helped with pain relief. Bloods: General biochem good, mild increase globulins- likely due to inflammation? Mild anaemia - reassessThyroid level goodProcedure: Radiographs taken of pelvis/ tail.  No obvious tail fracture near wound site. Previous pelvic fracture present but healed.  Left hip moderate arthritic changeWound site over tailbase flushed copiously with saline, produced moderate amount of purulent material.  Mild dead space cranially, no drain elected today. Reason: Possible HBCAppointment Notes: limping, seems to be in shock, wont eat, graze above eye, painful to touch.  Was missing last night. ADBHistory:  was found today , last night did not come  ,  today seems  is painful when is touched in the back end ,  appears  ate something  of the food this motning .Otherwise has been DUDEClinical Findings: BAR  all parameter normal ,  not   abnormalities found at PE   except  , pain on the right coxo femoral joint   , at extension to caudal  ,  feet and dostal joints are ok  ,  neurological ok , mild lameness1/5 from  right back leg .Differential Diagnosis:  hyp dislocation , fracture not  displacement   on pelvis , , femur  fracture etc . Diagnosis:  small fracture  mild displacement  pubis bone  from  the acetabulum Plan:  discussed most of this fractures   have a good  prognosis  if there has  bee a good  cage rest for a t least 4 weeks   specially in young animals  , so owner is happy to keep him confined  .
