Chipped carnassial Treatment:- ProHeart SR-12 (heartworm prevention) 2.2 mL administered SC.- Beransa injection administered SC for management of osteoarthritis pain.- A blood sample was collected via jugular venepuncture and sent to an external laboratory.- A follow-up appointment was scheduled in one month.- Advice was provided to the owner regarding the use of Meloxicam (Medicam). It was recommended to use it on an as-needed basis, for example, during a bad week, rather than daily, to minimise the risk of long-term kidney effects. An alternating-day schedule was suggested as an alternative if more frequent use is required.- Recommendations were made for managing osteoarthritis. This included weight management with a target weight of 40kg, the potential use of joint supplements, and a discussion about a prescription diet (Hill's Metabolic + Mobility). The role of cartilage-protecting injections (e.g., pentosan polysulfate sodium) was also discussed, with the plan to review this option after receiving the blood test results. The mechanism of Beransa as a pain-relief agent was explained, with a caution against over-exertion. The use of NSAIDs like Meloxicam for inflammation was also reviewed. A handout on osteoarthritis management was provided.- A vaccination certificate including the heartworm prevention was provided as requested.--- 11/02/2026 08:06:55 AM KSN:Examinations - Resolved - sms sent ajl Vital Signs Weight: 44.4; HeartRate: 72; DentalGrade: 1; CRT: <2; MMColour: pink ; BodyScore: 6;
