C/O intermittent runny stools, on and off. Last week was runny, this week is fine. No change in appetite. History of previous UTIs, particularly when it rains. No V/D reported otherwise.Examination:BAR, good for exam EEN : Ears slightly red with minimal waxy discharge noted, more in the right ear. No significant ocular or nasal discharge.Dental score : NAD.Lymph Nodes: NAD, symmetrical and non-enlarged.Heart: NSR, no murmur detected. Pulses strong and synchronous.Chest: Clear, with normal bronchovesicular sounds heard.Integument: NAD. No ectoparasites, lumps, or masses found.Abdominal palpation: Soft, non-painful on palpation. No organomegaly detected.MSK: Full range of motion in all joints, no lameness detected.Neuro: Bright, alert, and responsive. Gait is normal.Weight is 43.8kg, a decrease of 3kg over 6/12, which has improved body condition score.Assessment:Generally healthy and fit for vaccination. Intermittent diarrhoea may be related to dietary sensitivity.Treatment:- C4 vaccination administered SC + BB PO.- Tapewormer tablets dispensed.- Vaccination certificate provided, with next vaccination due on 20/02/2027.- Dosing for tapeworm tablets advised at four and a half tablets every three months.- Client advised on performing a food elimination trial for 6-8 weeks to investigate potential dietary sensitivities causing diarrhoea. Recommendation is to simplify the diet to kibble and chicken only, eliminating Weet-Bix and the prime roll. No treats during the trial. Discussed that if diarrhoea persists, further investigation such as checking vitamin B12 levels or supplementing may be warranted. Pancreatic insufficiency was discussed but considered less likely given the clinical signs.- Advised to reduce the frequency of using Epi-Otic ear cleaner to once a week to avoid irritation. Discussed alternative anti-inflammatory and antifungal ear drops are available if needed.
