Recommend radiographs to rule out major issue. Had food around since last night, unsure if he ate anything this morning or overnight. Owner is concern about risk of regurgitation, decided to hold off sedation and x ray today and start with pain relief. Suggest if clinical sign does not improve through the weekend come in for radiographs. Meloxicam 0.05mg/kg PO SIDPlan:Monitor lameness. Revisit if clinical sign does not improve.
