Seemed ot improve after rest and previcox but then seemed sore again when these where stopped.BARTPR normalWalking well in consult with no apparent lamenessHe is stiff when getting up and down from the sitting positionMSK exam - no pain on examination today although did develop a grade 1-2/5 lameness in the R hind after examination22g catheter R cephalic and sedated with 0.3ml medetom/0.55ml torb iv - good effectRADS: lateral views of the spine, VD of the pelvic and lumbar spine, lateral and AP views of the stifles. All views reasonable qualityThere is evidence of hip dysplasia on on the LHS and some OA in the L stifle which has had previous cruciate Sx.There is some OA changes on the ventral intra-articular aspects of the vertebral bodies in the lumbar spine the the change are fairly mildThe R stilfe shows mild-mod OA on both lateral and AP viewsReversed with atipamDdx suspect the main issue is OA in the R stifle. There is no cruciate instability in thie joint, can't rule out meniscal injury but it has full and smooth ROM while sedatedTx continue rest for another 2 weeks with leash walking only. Continue previcox prn, or could try him on paracetamol 375mg sid-bid as needed.In gerenal management should consist of low intensity activites, joint supplement (4cyte) and monthly cartrophen with occasiaonl pain relief when he over dose thingsIf he continues to deteriorate in the R hind then could refer for CT or arthroscope
