heart issues - dyspnoea/tachypnoea over last month,
otherwise EDUD Normally. Gum colour pink (o checked at home).

Heart disease diagnosed in Jan from ARH
coughing since december
40mg furesomide 1/2 tablet bid
Vetmedin - 3/4 every 12hr 1hr before food. 
Coughing in the morning or exciting/ collar pulling. 
Appetite normal. 
pu/pd with furesemide. 
BAR active, can get short of breath. 

Examine:
- 

Assessment:
- CHF
- URT dynamic airway disease

Treatment:
- vetmedin 2.5mg bid po ongoing
- furesemide 10mg bid ongoing for now. 

Plan:
- send through information regarding work up and at home monitoring. 
-

Possible Canine cough iinfection.

- Second time running away in a month (episode happened in 2023 as well)
- Strong smell, dirty, matted, coat not in great conditions
- Came in with no collar
- Found in the bush roaming
- He barks non stop in the kennel (housed in isolation ward because we don't want him in contact with patients)
- We cannot sedate or give gaba as we don't have consent from O
- Not up to date with vacc and not sure about preventions 

- O came to pick him up at 3pm
- O advised Louie escapes from inside the house, not outside on his own. He stresses when O leaves for work. Leaves on a 2nd storey decked area and can still escape.
- He will contact us back to book in for Vaccinations during Christmas period when he has time off work
- Louie is on NextGard Spectra and buys it elsewhere
- Discussed potential stress/separation distres when left home alone. Anytime Louie is left with son he uninates and defaecate inside and he is not himslef. Barks a lot and very nervous. Advised they can have a behavioural appointment with the vet to discuss strategies and medications to assist with this. Also advised that there is training for separation anxiety.
