O originally not concerned until he started noticing yellow liquid coming from the ear and worried about infection with the humidity so brought into us<br></strong><br><br>EDDU: wnl<br>Heart worm prevention: Intestinal worming: Flea control: Tick control: o unsure but his wife gives something - is checking<br>Diet:<br>Current medications:<br><br><strong>EXAMINATION</strong>:<br>MM: Pink and moist <br>CRT < 2 second<br>Demeanour: BAR<br>Hydration: Euhydrated <br>Cardiovascular: Dual heart sounds auscultated, no murmur or arrhythmia detected, SSFP<br>Respiratory: Normal bronchovesicular sounds bilaterally, normal effort<br>Neurological: Appropriate & normal mentation, gait and posture<br>Musculoskeletal exam: moving well in consult room<br>Gastrointestinal: Comfortable on abdominal palpation <br>Genito /Urinary: Bladder palpates WNL<br>Integument: Coat condition great, no ectoparasites visualised <br>Eyes: Symmetrical, no ocular discharge or blepharospasm<br>Ears: Normal, no auricular discharge bilaterally<br>L pinna at base and cranial aspect approx 1.5cm cut, skin moderately swollen and erythematous, upper skin flap thin and underrun and may die. <br>Mouth: Dental grade 0/4<br>Lymph Nodes: Submandibular, prescapular and popliteal palpate normally<br><br><br><strong>PROBLEM LIST</strong>:<br>.Lpinna wound<br><br><strong>ASSESSMENT</strong>:<br>.suturing not currently recommended<br><br><strong>PLAN</strong>:<br>amoxyclav half a 250mg bid po 7 days with food<br>metacoxx 10kg dose sid with food 3 days<br>Revisit: Needed tuesday check doesnt need a trim or suture but think will be ok and the ridge may be slight and under the fur not very obvious<br><br>.</p> </div> </div> </div></html>
