<p>First Clinic Signs: Rash on neck and licking paws<br><br>Summary: Bailey a 8yo sheltie MN presented today due to rash on neck and licking paws. Rash on neck has been going on for a couple off weeks, hair has been falling off and crusts forming and making it bleed. O thought it was the collar, but still scratching at it. No changes in diet. EDDU normal. Bailey likes the water and has been licking his paws receantly. <br><br><br>Diagnosis: pododermatitis caused by malasezzia, and localized pruritus underneath the neck with extensive area of alopecia with cocci infestation<br><br><br>Treatment: apoquel to give a relief of itchness, amoxyclav BID for 10 days, chlorex to clean wound on neck before putting neocort (BID for 14 days), malaseb shampoo Once weekly. </p></html>

REASON FOR VISIT - Annual Health check & vaccination HISTORY- Bailey is a 8.5yr old Sheltie presenting vaccination today after it was delayed last week after continued antibiotics for GI disease/ diarrhoea. O states that Baileys has improved significantly since finishing his second course of ABs. REASON FOR VISIT: not eating since the weekend, diarrhoeaConsultation notesBailey a 8yo sheppdog MN presented today due to diarrhoea since Thursday. Vomited white froth yesterday. Diarrhoea looks dark brown, drinking lots of water, no change in diet. BAR, but O said he's not as active.
