Hx: Presents for eating 3 x chocolate hot cross buns yesterday. No raisins in these, only 19% milk chocolate (6.9mg theobromine) and 3% cocoa (11mg) = safe dose for this dog. O reports had 2 x V+ yesterday, first with digested food, second just biliary. Has been acting normal, no hyperexcitement, ptyalism, seizures, or dilated pupils. EDDU, ate well last night. Faeces passed has been normal in consistency. PEx: Demeanour: BAR HR: 120, MM: P, M, CRT: 1-2s, RR: pant, T: 38.1 BCS: 4/9 Thoracic auscultation: No murmur or arrhythmia. Normal BV sounds heard bilaterally. Abdominal palpation: Soft and comfortable on palpation. No organomegaly or fluid wave detected. Lymph nodes: Submandibular, retropharyngeal, pre-scapular and popliteal LN palpate WNL. Neuro: PLR direct & consensual present bilat. No concerns at this stage. Discuss probiotics in case of diarrhoea, Os will monitor for now. Suggest chicken and rice for 5 days to minimise any diarrhoea. JY
