Lump on L elbow - noticed about a week ago, some liquid came out last night, now smaller Likes to lie on firm surfaces outside, has lots of beds inside Exam: BAR VERY sweet dog Heart and lungs sound good MM p, m crt<2 Coat as previously described - alopecic esp over back. Paws looking good today! Both elbows have thickening with rugose appearance, LF has a scab laterally that was readily exfoliated. No obvious fb, no discharge, just pink tissue. Assessment: Suspect pressure hygroma or similar pathology related to conformation that has been traumatised, vs pyotraumatic furunculosis, vs other Plan: Try to avoid systemic Abs if possible given history of extensive prior use and no obvious infection. Sebazole wash daily for 3 days then every second day. Recheck if change, discharge, growth or concern.
