HISTORY: Reason: Diarrhoea H: Has had diarrhoea for about 3 days. Has had solid feces at time throughout this period. Stools are lighter in colour, mustard like. Thick liquid consistency. No blood, no mucous. No V+ in the 3 days Does not go to dog park but does go for walks along the river etc. Seems bright and happy but might not be eating as much as normal. changed food a while ago as the old one was upsetting his tummy. May have been given some of the old food a couple of weeks ago. Is known to eats socks - usually will vomit O has kept feeding normal dry - not bland diet. E: Anxious panting heavily Overweight mm pink, CRT <2, Euhydrated Abdo palp nsf - no painful spikes T39.2 - very worked up Rectal - d+ bron on glove P: Offered admission, bloods and imaging givem Mo's hx v bland food and prokolin trial O efeels that he is not like he is with a FB so elects option 2. Adv revist immediatetl for bloods and imaging if declines no cerenia as i do not want ot mask V+

HISTORY: Reason: Post-op check History 25/9 required surgery for sock FB - single enterotomy Discharged with Fentanyl patch 100mcg, Metoclopramide 20mg q12 and Ondansetron 16mg q8-12 Has been having regular small meals of Prime100 roll C&BR Has passed some normal bowel motions Seems bright and comfortable Examine mm pink, moist, crt <2secs HR 100bpm. regular rhythm RR panting Temp not taken Skin: removed sad looking primapore dressing (dirty and loose) Intradermal sutures look good, some minimal puckering at distal end Skin is mildly erythematous, but likely from dressing (sweating, irritation) Gentle cleaning with chlorhex Removed fentanyl patch from LHL Plan Recommend new e-collar, or use of large T-shirt to prevent self trauma Recommend to continue Prime roll for at least another week Revisit Newtown Veterinary Clinic in 5days (when 10days post-op) Monitor for any nausea, inappetance, or signs of discomfort WEIGHT: 60.10

HISTORY: 9:40am phone call Mo is going well, back to normal. I asked about primapore and fentantyl patch. Fentanyl patch was placed, on back leg, primapore dressing is still on wound and bandage was still on front leg which I am assuming is where the catheter was, so advised O to take that one off. O was also no given a cone on discharge. Post surgery meds have also now finished. Eating and drinking as per normal and going to the toilet. Recheck appointment made for tomorrow.
