Gabapentin dispensed for blood test visit - 100mg x 20 - 2 capsules evening before and 2 hrs before vet visit

O has decided to cancel a/g flush this week as seems ok. Will monitor and rebook if feels necessary

had 100mg gaba last night but O had not given any this morning.was swiping through carrier door and lunging, was eating churu stick, mixed in 200mg gaba in small amount of food and started eating but then refused anymore. waited an hour  - no change and not eaten so put 200mg gaba in 1ml syringe and syringed into mouth at 9:20am.during which time ate the remaining food in the bowl as we were unble to remove it from kennel. overall has had 400mg gaba, tried taking bloods at 12:20pm, wrapped and collat on but still too fractious and not able to take blood at all, concerned re kaya being so stressed so plan to get O to come get kaya and try another day.gaba day before and morning of 2 hours before app, fasted, in with vets also as app incase needs further sedation. ssm tried calling O at 12:20pm but straight to voicemail .ssmPLAN: booked in frida 8:30am foe JT or VN to get bloods. JT sdvised can have 200mg day before and 2 hours before, fasted- already charged. explained to O on discharge about gaba and might get V and D but to call us if worried and might be sleepy at home and to keep a close eye on her for next 8-12 hours.ssm
