Red eye progressively worsens throughout day hx: diabetic well managed - CGM on all the time, O v vigilant. On toujeo and rzodeg insulin eye ongoing redness LEFT eye only - owner says its better in the morning and progresses to quite red throughout the evening doesn't really bother him, no pawing at it and no squinting maxidex does help, O has run out eating well, no vomits, stools well formed PE: L eye mild scleral injection eyes open comfortable no blepharospasm, no miosis STT L eye 15mm distance exam nuclear sclerosis evident, direct exam retina appears normal R eye normal no injection IOP L eye 18, R eye 20 ongoing inflammation L eye unknown cause -- unilateral seems less likely allergies, discussed risk cataract formation with diabetes O keen to have optho consult for 2nd opinion recc ECA Artarmon, O will book and we can send through history
