HISTORYBeen medicating the ears for 9 days. EXAMEars were examined - clean but for some muck on ear drums. Swabs were taken- muck at end of swabs removed. Impression smears showed still yeasts infection present - see image. ASSESSMENTLowered immune response - probably since cushing's disease is present? Needs more thorough cleaning perhaps. Options are - clean out ears under GA, use otoflush twice weekly, or just use medicine alone.PLANTwice weekly wash plus another 14 days of PMP. RV in 2 weeks - if infection gone - then put on elocon. If infection still present - options are to continue on current course for another 2 weeks or commit to a GA and flush.
