Echo Summary - heart measurements havent changed since last echo - mitral valves are misshapen - some B lines on TFAST --> worried re CHF (dont always get severe LA enlargement before CHF in large breeds) - hypertension on BP Options: - rec measure resting RR at home - chest rads +/- abdo US in case other pathology present - Frusemide trial - referral UA: USG 1.027, pH 6.5, blood +, rest NAD CBC: mild low retic Hgb, rest NAD Biochem: NAD STO to advise bloods look great. Janet thinks Marley is breathing a bit better since the weather has cooled down. Opted to do chest xrays and abdo US here, ideally on same day if possible. Will contact Dr Kerri and confirm date with O. Also rec collect urine sample first of a morning to recheck USG (no charge).
