AllThe gallbladder is normal volume (10.2 ml; reference 1-2ml/kg). The gallbladder has minimal cystic mucinous hyperplasia on the dorsal aspect of the wall. The gallbladder contains mobile echogenic sediment with some adhering it to the mucosal surface.Adrenal glandsThe left adrenal gland has a small nodule in the mid region which is hyperechoic (4 mm height, 6.8 mm length). The caudal pole of the left adrenal is increased in thickness with a caudal pole thickness of 7 mm.The right adrenal gland has a caudal pole thickness of 6.1 mm.SpleenOn the hilar margin of the spleen there is a hyperechoic benign myelipoma (5 x 8.5 mm).KidneyThe left kidney has a small incidental 2.2 mm anechoic cortical cyst. The remainder of the abdominal structures are within normal limits including the spleen, kidneys, urinary bladder, pancreas, medial iliac lymph nodes and cranial mesenteric lymph nodes. The portions of the gastrointestinal tract examined are within normal limits. The stomach contains gas reverberation artefact consistent with gas, and the portions of the gastric wall examined are normal thickness (3 mm; reference range 2-5mm). All portions of the small intestine have normal layering and wall thickness including the duodenum (4.8 mm; reference up to 5.1mm), jejunum (3.4mm; reference up to 4.1mm) and ileum (2 mm; reference up to 2-4mm).The colon wall is within normal limits (1.3 mm; reference range 2-3mm).Ultrasound interpretation1. Liver mass: DDx: Primary liver tumour (such as hepatocellular adenoma / carcinoma), less likely benign lesions (such as nodular hyperplasia).2. Liver nodule: This finding has a broad range of differentials with benign aetiology such as nodular hyperplasia prioritised in this patient.3. Gallbladder: early cystic mucinous hyerplasia4. Adrenal glands: Left adrenal gland has a nodule which may be non-functional (adenoma, hyperplasia) or functional. The left adrenal gland also has increased caudal pole thickness suggesting that bilateral enlargement may be your become a feature of this patient or this measurement may be an outlier in this patient. Correlate this with the clinical picture.5. Spleen: Benign benign myelolipoma. 6. Left kidney: Incidental small cortical cyst transfer Vital Signs
