**S** Pepper - 8yo FS Labradoodle Presented for ghc and ear revisit o's have been applying ear ointment topically and giving steroids - all finished now. seems much more comfortable in ear canals. both dogs have had some softer faeces however for past week or so. not really improving despite prokolin and chicken /rice diet no v+no change in diet. o's quite strict at home with diet. both dogs so unlikely to be meds- PREVENTATIVES: utd with vacc and preventatives - DIET: dry adult biscuits - MEDICATIONS none**O** Demeanour : barFAS: #INPUT# MM : pink, crt<2Dental disease: 1 /4 Calculus, 1/4 Gingivitis - Overall -> 1/4 Eyes: clear and clean bilat, no discharge Ears: mild dark discharge bilat, no smell, no rednessLN: soft and wnl HR: 100, ssfp, no murmurs or arryhtmias, RR: pant, clear bv sounds bilat MSK: ambulating well in consult, full ROM not performed abdo palp: soft and comfortable on palpation BCS: 5/9Temp: deferred**A** ear cytology - clear bilat, mild debris only d+ - ddx - primary gastritis (viral vs bacterial vs parasitic vs FB) vs secondary gastritis (renal, hepatic, toxin)**P** Client Communication / Options Discussed with Owner rec faecal float and giardia snap - o to drop off sample when possible. once cleared up can vacc RWGiardia snap - NEGimagyst - clear, no oocysts observedrec. to trial extended course of prokolin and microbiome tin food for now ( give for 3-4 days).
