Complaint:  Bottom Seems Sore, Scooting History: Since desexing earlier this week has been rubbing abdomen on ground, crawling rather than walking often and when goes to walk suddenly stops and sits as if has perianal irritation. Otherwise ok, E/D/U/F all ok.Clinical Signs:  Focused exam - spey wound intact, sutures intact, clean, minimal hyperaemia, no painful, mild s/c swelling, no evidence of herniation, T = 38.6.Both anal sacs minimally distended with a dark brown fluid.Assessment:  PC likely secondary from irriation from desexing surgery rather than anal sac disease.Plan:  Redispense more meloxicam and observe responseTreatment:  10 mL meloxicam - 3.0 kg dose once daily.
