Appointment Notes: D+ with bloodHx:3 days ago in the evening had a puffy mouth. Yesterday didn't eat all day and was vomiting overnight. This morning lots of black tarry diarrhoea with frank blood. About an hour ago had yellow vomits. Not typically a dog who would ingest a foreign body. Has been lethargic generally. No recent diet change. Is starting to have a lot of trouble with R stifle so O wants to get him booked in for rads soon - suspect cruciate diseaseAss:Suspect primary GIT disease. Most likely gastroenteritis. Cannot rule out pancreatitis or FB obstruction, although unlikely. Unsure if suspected hypersensitivity reaction from a few days ago related or not. At this stage that seems resolved. Recommend symptomatic treatment. If not improving by tomorrow should bring in for IVFT and bloods.
