Presented for annual health check and vaccination and anal gland expression. Has been shaking head and scratching at ears for past four weeks. EDUD as normal, no vomiting or diarrhoea recently. Current diet is Royal Canin Labrador dry food. Currently receiving annual ProHeart SR12 injection and three monthly Drontal and Bravecto for parasite prevention. No current medications. No other concerns.

Limited physical examination performed with difficulty. Attempted to swab ears for cytological evaluation but not able to do so safely. Increased stress response when muzzle attempted to be placed. Vaccination and anal gland expression not attempted due to agitated state. Advised scheduling appointment for tomorrow for sedation and treatment. Provided estimate of approximately $930. Clients happy with this plan.
