Jacque occasionally gags or chokes, which has occurred since he was a kitten, O is not concerned about this. His appetite is normal, and he has not defecated since yesterday.The string was attached to a toy and was last seen intact at 11:00 pm last night. The owner noticed it was missing this morning at around 11:00 am. The owner suspects the other cat may be more likely to have ingested it, as she has a history of foreign body ingestion. Physical Examination: Demeanour: BARBCS: 4.5/9EENT: normal Peripheral lymph nodes: normal size Integument: noraml Cardiovascular: HR 129 bpm, pulse is strong, no murmur Respiratory: RR 44, no respiratory effortAbdominal: soft and unremarkableMusculoskeletal: no weakness, full musculoskeletal exam is not performed. Neurological: normal Rectal: not assessed Urogenital: no discharge. Assessment:1. Suspected FB ingestion Procedure: - 0.2mL dexdomidine (20ug/kg)- 0.05mL antipamezole IMDexmedetomidine was administered to induce emesis. Jacque vomited but no string was found. A POCUS examination was performed to search for a foreign body in the gastrointestinal tract, and the findings were unremarkable. Plan (incl. alternative options): 1. Monitor closely over the next 2–3 days for any signs of vomiting (V+). Please arrange a recheck if any lethargy or vomiting is observed. Vital Signs
