owner presented due to thinking she has an enlargement on her neck - thinks its a lymph node 
she said its come up in the last few days. dog has been well otherwise and no concerns 
has a few other lumps and bumps on her that she has always had 
no vomiting, diarrhoea or coughing. 

PE:
BAR
BCS:6/9
Integ/aural/ocular: clear no discharges, no erythema, lump on right zygomatic arch region - mobile soft - possible lipoma - about 1cm 
Lymph: all peripheral LNs swollen 
- popliteal 2cm bilaterally 
submandibular 3cm bilaterally 
prescapular 2cm bilaterally 
inguinal Lns palpable 

Dent: 2/4 teeth, worn teeth with moderate calculus 
Cardio: 104BPM, clear PR: SS, no audible murmur heard 
Resp: panting, clear bronchovesicular sounds, no cough on tracheal palp, 
Abdo: comfortable no pain or organomegaly palpated 
Urogenital: clear, no discharges, swellings etc
Temp: 38.7

Plan:
biopsy and FNA lymph nodes and then sending off for histopath and immunohistochemistry for T and B cell if confirmed 

Sedation:
10mcg/kg medetomidine and 0.3mg/kg methadone IM - sedation good 
induction alfaxalone 

right prescapular region was surgically prepared 
Taken 6mm punch biopsy of right prescapular Lymph node 
sutured closed with nylon 2/0 in cruciate pattern 2 stitches 

taken FNA of all other Lymph nodes to be sent with biopsy incase insufficient for diagnosis 
owner has booked referral with SASH for monday in a week 
for oncology 

bloods performed:
blood smear performed - platelet clumps in peripheral smear.

Subject: Juno wound picture

Good afternoon,

Last week my dog, Juno came in to have her stitches removed and there was some concern about redness and swelling around the wound. 
I was asked to send through a photo after she finished the antibiotics.
She seems good, and I believe the redness has reduced. Let me know if you need to see her again.
