Reason: Admit For Repeat Nasal BiopsiesHistory: Current meds given at 7AM this morning.- Paracetamol 11mg/kg TID - Oral TXA 11mg/kg TID - Continue on Carprofen as per RV dosage (NB- RV dosage is 150mg BID, however owner has previously told MZ only giving 100mg BID, unclear how much has given this morning)Fasted from 7pm yesterday 1st of March.Has had just a single episode of epistaxis when traumatised nose during bath time last week. Otherwise well in self no issues.Examination: BARGood nasal flow both nares CV stable No abnormalities on clinical examination. Hermi continues to have small areas of depigmentation over the left nare. Laboratory: Right nasal cavity histopathology (blind nasal biopsy) - Assessment: Blind nasal biopsy of the right nasal cavity was performed with multiple large samples taken (3x cassettes) and minimal bleeding seen post-sampling. Happy to discharge pending results. Plan:- continue paracetamol/carprofen re OA - continue oral TXA - still have the option of Yunnan baiyo but if not currently having epistaxis can leave as is- I will call once histology results are back - to monitor for further epistaxis at home. Can use cold pack or an intranasal oxymetazoline spray if bleeding seen, otherwise to call us if concerned.
