History: Last night was barking every hour to go out to the toilet. Had liquid D+ This morning had frank blood in stool, now is darker like malena. Had a once off V+ last week, pink coloured, back to normal for 2-3 days. This morning V+ food and bile coloured liquid. o didn't feed her this morning. Inappetent this morning, didn't want to eat Saturday morning. Only ate a small amount of food on Sunday (chicken and pumpkin). Lethargic at home. No dietary changes. Had a couple of roasted chestnuts (has had them before). Not a scavenger. Diet: taste of the wild seafood dry food (has been on this dry food for the last 3-4 weeks), cooked chicken Preventatives: simparica trio UTD, no all wormer Current medication - UTD Examination: BARFAS scale: 2MM pink, tacky OMM, unable to examine for long duration as beginning to mouth Ocular: both eyes visual, no discharge or blepharospasmEars: clear, minimal discharge Oral cavity: no significant periodontal diseaseCardiovascular: normal heart sounds, no murmur or arrhythmia detected, SSFPRespiratory: normal upper respiratory and bronchovesicular sounds, normal respiratory effortIntegument: skin and coat normal, no ectoparasites Abdominal palpation: slightly uncomfortable on abdominal palpation Musculoskeletal: normal gaitNeurological: mentation normal, normal posture and coordination, normal CP and gait, full neuro exam not performedUrogenital: external genitalia normalPeripheral LNs: small, mobile and symmetricalTemperature unable to be taken due to temperament Problem list: - Acute V+ and D+ with blood - Lethargy - Tacky oral MM Assessment: Ddx – dietary (intolerance vs indiscretion) vs AHDS vs FB vs GIT parasites/bacteria/virus vs extra-gastrointestinal (pancreatitis, hepatopathy, toxic, endocrine disorders) Treatment: Plan:
