SEDATION AND SURGICAL BIOPSY OF MASS ON RHL PAW NB: multiple drug allergies were noted in history and those were drugs avoided;Pre-Sedation TPRT - 38.8P - 120R - >30Sedation0.2ml Domitor + 0.1 ml Butorphanol IV @ 9.30am0.2 ml Atipamazole IM @10.00 amSURGERYMass on RHL metatarsophalangeal skin--approx 0.6cm diam--> Bupivacine 0.8ml infused adjacent to lesion and mass excised with eliptical incision; wound closure with 3/0 nonabsorbable Ethilon in a cruciate suture patternBANDAGE: Melolin,soft ban,vetwrap and leucoplast with cotton wool placed interdigitallyTREATMENT-Onsior 2.3ml @ 1mg/kg- Onsior 20mg sid for 6 days starting tomorrow, 28/02 at 12 noon--Onsior 5mg sid for 6 daysRecovery: Smooth recovery, no adverse reactionsMaintained on 5ml/kg/hr during procedure andPlan- Bandage review in 4 days-- No off lead running, no walks for first few days-- due to location of wound dehiscence is a risk- Biopsy sample submitted for histopathology
