Improved with Meloxicam but still not 100 %.  Male owner says he thinks it's her neck.  Went for a walk and seemed fine but now shaking.  Wants to know if he can get more Meloxicam.  Will bring her back next week if still not right.

Hx;O says has been not herself today, sleeping a lot and not that keen on food. Ate some jatz crackers as a treat but wouldnt touch other food. Urinated this morning but no defec, drinking water as usualNo vomiting or diarrhoeaNot usually a scavenger. Yesterday may have injured herself  - launched through the doggy door and banged it pretty hard. Has been walking around gingerly/looking stiff. Exam;QAR, seems to be in discomfort - no overt lameness but has a stiff gait while ambulating. No spinal pain on palpation, manipulation of limbs resents but no repeatable locus of painMMs pink and moist, appears to be hypersalivatingOn abdo palpation whimpering and licking lips ++ guarding around cranial abdomenTemp 38.1After exam dog ate some treats on the floorAssess;Abdominal pain vs non-specific MSK pain from trauma yesterday Ddx pancreatitis, GI FB, toxin, other?PlanBloods - very marginal increased pancreatic lipase (222 - recommendation is to treat for pancreatitis if >400) - all else wnl Discussed with owner - recommend abdo xray to assess for possible GI obstruction vs trial meloxicam single dose and see how she is tomorrow before proceeding to further diagnostics - owner elected for second optionGive meloxicam at home tonight with food for presumed MSK injury but If still unwell tomorrow then needs to rv for abdo xray, further investigationIf vomiting/flat/unwell overnight then visit emergency vet
