Reason: recheckFKHistory:Pickles (3y5m MN Kelpie) presented today for 4 week recheck post explant following R calcaneal fracture repair (sx 11/2/26)Initial surgery 01/09/25. Explant due to implant failure 23/10/25. Culture 23/10/225 - Org 1: Staphylococcus pseudintermedius scant (sensitive to amoxyclav) Revision surgery 06/11/25 Presented 30/12/25 with pin loosening and protrusion. Revision surgery to re-insert the pin. Rebandaged with dorsal splint. OR doing well, EDUD fine however smell and moistness coming from toes in splint bandageCurrent Medications: NilObjective: Demeanour: TPR WNLMSK: Comfortable, ambulatory 3/10 RPL lameness with bandage. Tarsus feels stable and improved todaySurgical site: Splint bandage in place. Removed. Large 3x3cm full thickness pressure sore over caudolateral calcanues.
