Reason: Med Review And Check Sore On Back Appointment Notes: th 13.3History:  TPLO at NQ care end of feb. Going well post op Walking well still restricting exercising. S/O with nq care Increased gabapentin at suture removal to try keep quiet this failed in keeping him quiet ( almost opposite effect)  Off medications at the moment. - little stiff when getting up Short walks twice daily. Lump removal site on back from january has a lesion pooped up directly over the scar. Scabbed up today but shown a photo of a burst abscess? Examination: Lesion on back is on the old scar of a surgery site from jan: when pushed on pus discharge. Scab left in place. Walking well on the leg. Treatment: Noroclav BID for 8 days. Can swim after 5 days if the lesion has scabbed up Clean wtih chlorhex swabs the scabbed/ lesion areaUse paracetamol and metacam as required for pian post operatively. Plan: If failing to improve by day 5 ( scab / pus region) warrents a review or if the lesion come back after antibitoic course. May required surgery investigationUpdate: Photos added to visit.
