UTD with simparica trio monthly and wormer (owner unsure which one). Owner feels that probiotics have greatly helped his faeces though did have an episode of diarrhoea last week. Currently washing feet twice weekly with malaseb and pyohex conditioner.</div>

<p>Presented by: Ainsley<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">Objective:</span><br>Current medication: nil<br>Demeanour: BAR<br>Ears: nil redness or debris bilaterally, cytology: nil microbes sighted bilaterally<br>Skin: RHL paw small amount of reddened interdigital skin<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">Assessment:</span><br>Otitis externa resolved<br><br><span style="font-weight: bold;">Plan:</span><br>Elocon weekly in both ears ongoing<br><br>1/ Recheck ears and swab in 4 weeks - owner to continue with elocon weekly as maintenance and flushing ears out with otoflush if any baths/contact with water.<br>2/ Discussed GI issues - trial RC anallergenic for 2 weeks and see how he goes. Long discussion regarding diet trial, may need to do a few different ones. Can consider adding in prebiotics such as guar gum as well, and Hills Biome may be a good option.<br>3/ Discussed pododermatitis - can add in elocon to feet as necessary. Option for cytopoint as well - owner elected to hold off for now and treat topically - will add in PAW nutriderm conditioner as a barrier cream. Will reassess in 4 weeks how feet are going. Owner to give update in 2 weeks by phone or email.</p>

Subjective:Owner has noticed that Rory is scratching his ears, R ear worse than L ear. Also still chewing at feet - owner doing malaseb soaks every few days and seems to help but still waking up to itch at night. Discussed possible allergic component.2/ Discussed skin - long discussion regarding medications ongoing such as apoquel or cytopoint (Samuel would like to talk to Ainsley about this and both will be present for next appointment).  Long discussion regarding diet trials and recommended considering RC anallergenic. Topical treatments may be less effective as itching all over.3/ Discussed diarrhoea - owner to check which flea/worming treatment that Rory is on, consider food trial - can be the anallergenic or novel protein (Prime 100).
