Reason: Mouth Infection After Being In Kennels (GR)WALK IN Just picked up from Hanrob- been there 6 weeks Nikita v upset because she had inquired re Migo and his neck folds? And received no response that there was any problem His lip  folds had been fine when she left and so had not provided any chlorhex wipes for the kennel to useNow upon collection, Nikita can see that the lip folds are very bad, Migo is very worked up and his coat has mats Objective:  Very aroused and over threshold- not aggressive but hyper vigilant, jumping up on owner, panting, hyperventilating and generally very worked up Apparently Migo is normally quite reactive but this is next levelHowever, he has just been collected from Kennels where he boarded for 6 weeks...Odour +++Lip fold dermatitis- exudative and swollen bilaterally but worse LHSTreatment: : Taken out to treatment area-> able to soak with chlorhex - was very goodStart amoxyclav 20mg/kg= 375mg BID- gave first dose in consultPlan:  * soak lip folds BID * chlorhex 250mg x 1.5tabs BID- next dose late this eveningR/v 4 days with aim to clip area and reassess- consider topical ointment (panamex?)Longer term- needs surgical correction as previously estimated    Vital Signs    Weight: 14;
