14/03/2026 Presented for irritation around anus. HX: Went to the groomer on Wed. Since then has been licking around her back end and irritated. No V+ or D+. No lethargy or off food. No excessive lip licking. Seems more clingy since coming home from the groomer. Otherwise well. Good energy levels. PHYSICAL EXAM: Attitude: BAR BCS: 3/5 Heart/lungs: no heart murmurs or arrhythmias auscultated. Lungs clear bilaterally. RR and RE normal MM: pink, moist CRT < 2sec Skin Tent: normal Dental Score: G2 Abdomen: soft and comfortable. No lip licking. Skin: 1cm in diameter area of erythema on skin 2cm laterally on RHS from her vulva. A small matte of fur in this region. Eyes: NAD Ears: NAD Temp: not taken Lymph Nodes: all WNL MSK/Neuro: NAD Rectal: not performed DIAGNOSTICS: Sticky tape Skin cytology of skin on RHS of vulva: cocci ++ neuts+ malassezia + ASSESSMENT: Superficial bacterial dermititis of the skin near vulva. Suspect may have been irritated after groom. PLAN: Amoxycalv PO BID for 10d. Topizole q2-3d. 10min. contact time for 2 weeks. Recheck in 10 days. O aware that she needs a dental, but can't go ahead with this at the moment due to costs. LV
