Reason: Recheck BottomHistory: O has been giving prednisolone and cyclosporin as directed, as well as hypoallergenic diet and stool softener. Dog still straining to defecate, often without passing anything. When he does pass a stool it is cow pat consistency. Only occasionally licking at bottom now, much reduced compared to previousExamine: Visible fistula has healed, mild erythema around where it was. External perianal palpation well tolerated, can feel thickening still but definite major improvement. Did not attempt rectal exam today.Plan: Continue cyclosporin and prednisolone wean as labelled.
