WEIGHT 36.90 HISTORY Presented for: more hotspots across body, scratching at them incessantly. Original hotspot under neck healing well EDUF: normal Current meds: pred 10mg EOD PO (end of tapering course, has 3x 20mg tablets remaining) CLIN_EXAM SKIN Ventral neck: hotspot healed Dorsal midline: ~4cm hotspot. Clipped & cleaned with chlorhex Tail base: mild alopecia but no current hot spot. Clipped only TREATMENT Neocort SID for up to 14d Malaseb shampoo to affected areas for 2-3d initially Cytopoint 40mg SC Restart pred tapering course 30mg SID PO for 3d then 20mg SID PO for 3d then 20mg EOD for 3 doses COMMENTS Disc cytopoint only efficacious when inflammation reduced, need to be done early to prevent progression to hot spots. Rpt cytopoint once itch returns (4-8wks), can do ongoing as needed FLRQ N WRMRQ N DIAG Hot spots
