Appointment Notes: sore legSubjective: Over past 3 days RHL aggravated, limping at home  OR resting and giving meloxicam at home Hx of LFL lameness, since resolved with rest and analgesia Otherwise DUDE as normal, no V+/D+O has no other concerns Objective: BAR, the sweetest girl, loves cuddles & treats HR/PR/CV: HR 92, No murmur, pulses SSMM/CRT/Hydration: MMs PM, CRT <2sRESP/RR: Chest ausc. clear, no crackles / wheezing Temp: 38.2 GIT/UG:  Abdominal palpation comfortable and unremarkableSkin/Ears: Coat & ears clear M/S: Gr 2/5 RHL lameness when ambulating into consult, CP WNL, mild discomfort when manipulating stifle however no swelling / crepitus observed and full ROM achieved, comfortable on manipulation & palpation of digits Eyes: bright and clear, no ocular discharge Dental: Gr 1/4Lymph Nodes: PLNs WNL BCS: 4.5/9Assessment:  Acute-on-chronic RH lameness ddx: ST injury, cruciate dz (partial vs complete tear), hip dysplasia, fracture, neoplasia Treatment: Gabapentin 200mg PO BID Meloxicam 2.5mg PO SIDDiscussion with Owner: Advised HL Xrays, estimated $815.
