-Health concerns: Broken tooth from chewing on a bone two nights ago, owner can see the pulp exposed
-EDDU: Normal - still eating, drinking and doing everything normal, no signs of pain shown
-Vomiting or diarrhoea: None

Physical Examination
-Mentation: BAR
-Ears/Eyes/Nose: NAD
-Oral cavity: Upper right carnassial tooth with slab fracture and pulp exposure, small patch of enamel loss on upper left carnassial tooth without pulp exposure, minimal plaque noted on other teeth
-MM: Pink
-CRT: <2s
-LNs: wnl
-Thoracic auscultation: No heart murmur or adventitious lung sounds noted
-HR: 120
-Abdominal palpation: NAD

Assessment:
1) Upper right carnassial tooth slab fracture with pulp exposure
2) Small patch of enamel loss on left carnassial tooth without pulp exposure

Plan:
1) Dental procedure scheduled for Wednesday at 9:10am including full blood test, IV fluids, anaesthetic, scale and polish of all teeth, X-ray of broken tooth, extraction of broken tooth, local block for pain relief, laser therapy - estimate $1515-$1621
   -Insurance pre-approval to be organized
   -Nail clip to be performed during anaesthetic

2) Started on pain relief medication + antibiotics today to continue until surgery

3) Soft food only from now until 2 weeks post-surgery when gums have healed
    -Remove all hard chew toys including bones and carrots

KMS - called O to discuss blood test results (total cholesterol and triglyceride wnl)
         - this should not be causing the lipid deposit on the eye so no underlying concern
         - O did not answer the call. Left a voicemail.

UPDATE: O called back and was updated with above
              : Plan: monitor for now. If any signs of eye irritation, or the affected area seems to be increasing in size then bring him in for recheck
