Apologised for miscommunication and failure to cancel the appointment. Advised coming in for revisit is preferential as we re-swab the ear. Reason: Rash On BackHistory:Maria and mum here with Molly A week ago noticed black spot (thought was dirt or dried blood) on neck. Tried to clean it and just noticed black discharge on top, but no other discharge. Today tried to clean it again with baby wipes, then saw red spot and skin looked raisedNot bothered by it otherwise. EDDU normally Gets flea/worming chew from supermarket - given 2 months ago but is quite difficult to give as often spits them out. Examine:BAR, lovely nature, BCS 6/9Eyes ears nose nadPLNs normalMMs pink and moist CRT <2sOral: DG1-2 upper premolars and molars Chest ausc nad, nil murmursLung fields clearAbdo palp comfortableInteg: dorsal neck (just behind collar) small pinpoint raised dermal swelling, mildly erythemic. Comfortable to palpate, nothing able to be expressed MSK nad, good ROM joints Tests performed: Ear smear: no infectious organisms seenTape prep: epithelial cells, no yeast/cocci Assessment:Lesion on neck ddx insect bite, papule from allergy, inflammation, blocked hair follicle/cystPlan:Dilute betadine to neck lesion BID x7d Recc ear cleaning once a month Dispensed simparica trio, given both chew and cazitel in Os request10 mins later vomited up simparica trio in waiting room (along with treats), so given a new one (as well as bonus).
