Reason: Severe Rash On BellyAppointment Notes: - Rash has been coming up on tummy on and off for approx. a month. Owner has been using pawpaw ointment on it and a steroid cream (?). Owner says it went away after using these, but now has come back worse. EJRashes on belly first came up 2 weeks ago and was treated well with pawpaw+steroid cream after 7 days. 2d ago rashes flared up again. Dog does walk pass spiky plants occasionally. Shakes ears occasionally (~ once a week) Ears NAD Eyes: mild hyperemia on sclera in R eye, L eye NADHeart and lung auscultation NAD Abd palpation NAD Skin: no pododermatitis. Multiple erythematous rashes on caudoventral abd and inguinal area. Tx with pred 0.3mg/kg BID for 3 days and slowly wean off. Stop steroid cream. Bath dog tomorrow with pyohex and apply conditioner afterwards.
