arthritic recheck with RB NEED MORE GABAPENTIN Hx: 2 ACL repairs and elbow dysplasia Minimum requirement Pet Primary Diagnosis/Suspected Diagnosis/Location: OA Suspect cause: OA Any other conditions being treated (if any): anal gland expression Known health concerns: OA Date of first clinical signs (if known): approximately early 2023 PROBLEM LIST osteoarthritis elbow dysplasia Previous reaction to amantadine keen to walk/ run but difficultly in performing good interaction and wants to play but OA affecting ability eating/ drinking fine episode of GI which also affected othr dog, approx 2wk duration - finally resolved approx 7d ago no vomiting diet - commerical kibble and wet DDx TREATMENT New regime - Beransa monthly - Ketamine 0.5mg/kg SC for windup pain (prev visit) now monthly - synovan q3months - Increase Gabapentin to 600mg BID = o feels works - Paracetamol 500mg BID-TID as required - Meloxicam SID with food as required = o worried about GI side effectes PLAN nurse for next month for beransa and ketamine but then vet r/c recommended for 3 months time
