Reason: earsHistory: Hx of ear infections, used to be left ear giving her trouble. The past 10 days or so has been itching her right ear, owner tried getting an appointment earlier, but couldn't get in. Had cortavance in the past, but moved house recently and can't find it now, used to use it once weekly. Will sometimes lick paws. Not itchy anywhere else.EDDU normal, no V+ or D+.Used to have cytopoint with a mobile vet, would like that today as well.About 12 months since last vac. On NGS, UTD. Examination: BAR MM pink, moist CRT <2 sec Eyes/nares NADOral - minimal plaque, no gingival hyperemiaEars - bilateral small amount of sticky light brown cerumen, mild hyperemia left ear pinna/tragus/meatus, moderate hyperemia right ear pinna/tragus/meatus, TMs intact.Lnn NADHeart and lung ausc NADAbd palp NADT not attempted, stress free handling, no systemic dz Laboratory: Ear cytology: L: cocci ++, malassezia ++ R: rod bacteria +++, cocci +, malassezia ++Assessment: Bilateral OE with mixed flora, rod bacteria in right ear Treatment: EpiOtic SIS SID 5 days both ears Easotic SID 5 days both earsCytopoint 10 mg SCConsent has been given by the client to proceed with this treatment  -  YesPlan:RV in 7 days to repeat cytology. Start omega3 for skin. Would recommend doing weekly EpiOtic ear cleans followed by Cortavance once resolved (cortavance not dispensed yet).Will do vac incl lepto (has had in the past) at revisit.
