Appointment Notes: went to daycare, now squinting eye Hx: Poppy was at daycare and had a toy thrown for her that hit her in the left eye. Cried out and then was squinting her left eye. Third eyelids on both eyes protrude slightly normally for Poppy - has been checked at eye specialist and on FML drops as needed for eye discharge/inflammation that usually happens in Spring. Ex: Left eye moderate inflammation of the sclera lateral to eye.  Third eyelid on left eye has mild inflammation also. Cornea clear. Mild squinting of the left eye. No discharge from eye. Right eye wnl other than slightly protruding third eyelid. Fluro stain placed into left eye - no stain uptake Alcaine drop into left eye - check behind eyelids and third eyelids - no FB found Tx: FML - 1 drop into left eye SID for 5 days Discussed if any cloudiness of cornea - stop FML drops and recheck eye Squinting of eye and redness should resolve within 3-4 days - if not resolving needs recheck Discussed horner syndrome - don't suspect Poppy has this however if seeing small pupil size, worsening protrusion of third eyelid, dropping of lower eyelid needs recheck to assess for this FML drops today expire start of April hence have been discounted as owner usually use the FML drops ongoing - will need to purchase a new bottle at the start of April for Spring time     Vital Signs    Weight: 28;       MMColour: Pink;       RespirationRate: 30;       HeartRate: 110;       HeadEyes: Abnormal (Left eye moderate inflammation of the sclera lateral to eye.
