Reason: Appt: Lump In EarHistory: Noiced a growht in ear suddenly. Does ears weekly so has come up quickly, Examination: BAR, walking well into consult, no lameness. L ear 6mm lump associated with extrenal meatus. Pinna itself is currently moderately inflamed also. O applying novasone twice weekly, last dose 2d ago. Assessment: Lump looks like a small histiocytoma. Plan: INcrease novasone to daily for 10-14d to reduce associated inflammation and then RV for FNA. Ddx histiocytom, MCT. If MCT then aim to remove, if anything else and not causing a problem then leave for now. Discussed what surgery would look like to excise, likely leave a small hole to heal by second intention +/- underlying cartilage excision also. Vital Signs Weight: 25.9;
