Reason: Heart InvestigationAppointment Notes: kngHistory:Referred by All Natural Vet Care for assessment of a potentially significant arrhythmia in a dog with exercise intolerance, collapse episodes. These events have happened ever since an adolescent but, seem to be increasing in frequency.Over the past year, O has reported episodes of becoming markedly 'puffed' on walks prior occasional collapse events, particularly during or after exertion. Recovers rapidly after these events.Previous ECG in 2022 in Port Macquarie, apparently with a specialist, showed an initially normal trace followed by a paroxysm of abnormal complexes (queried VTs). Patient remained markedly tachycardic during recovery for 15min. Holter was suggested but never followed up. ECG unavailable for reviewOn 10/3/26, rDVM detected sinus arrythmia, HR ranged from 70-210bpm (during BP readings).
