13/03/2026 Reason: Cough
Notes: Cough comes and goes and never settled while she was on the meds. Last week or so seems to coughing again. O wonders if she could be allergic to Citronella collar?  
History: 
Examine: 
Eyes:. Clear
Nose:. Clean/no visible discharge
Ears:. NAD on otoscopic exam
Teeth/Oral:. Mild/mod tartar. No visible FBs. 
Thoracic Auscultation:. Hr 108, Pr 108, Rr 40. Positive tracheal test. Coughing regularly and flat. Coughs partic after drinking. Also sneezes/sounds like reverse sneezing but has always done this.
Abdominal Palpation:. NAD - Dog EDUF normally a/c to o
Musculoskeletal System:. NAD on exam. Groomer has advised O that dog seems sensitive to groom front legs lately but no obvious concerns on exam.
Skin:. NAD
Other:. T 38.4
Diagnosis: Cough - 2ndary to infection/allergy/other?
Plan: Recomm next step imaging and likely scope / BAL etc. Refer to SASH for further workup.

Owner Report via Sue - Missy seems to be coughing less. Rec to complete the course of medication and come for a revisit if not settled.
