Reason: Very "flat". Crying Each Time He Tries To Jump LasAppointment Notes: Body weight 9.1.Very "flat". Crying Each Time He Tries To Jump for last 36 hours. BWHistory:  has seemed sore and reluct to jump up onto beds/laps etc for 2d. Went to doggy daycare on the wed 11/3, was ok when he got home but sore later in the day. He also jumped around madly when someone came to the door  on Wed 11/3 pm. Is eating normally, no v/d.Today he seems more comfortable but still reluct to jump up. Examine:  walking ok but has arched lumbar spine. He went to jump up on Os legs a few times and then stopped himself.MM pink, vitals normal, abdo relaxed.Using HLs well, no neuro deficits, normal CP. He flinches on palp along lumbar spine area and cried out when I flexed the spine/ lumbosacral junction.No neck pain.Assessment: this is his first known episode of back pain, likely muscular strain today but spoke re IVDD .Treatment:  rest and 5d meloxicam.
