Appointment Notes: Overdue reminders  ------- Sms reply: YReason for visit:Right hind limb lameness persisting despite anti-inflammatory treatment.History:Roxy presented with right hind limb lameness. Previously treated with Metacam for two and a half weeks with some improvement but lameness persisting. Owner reports intermittent three-legged lameness initially, now subtle ongoing lameness. Still able to jump up onto furniture. Previous joint supplement (4cite) trialled without significant benefit.EXAMINATION:BAR BCS 7/9Mm pink, moist, CRT <2sHR 144 nad nervous Lung ausc wnlAbdo palp soft, nadLNs wnlPulses s/sRight knee feels slightly thickened compared to left knee. Mild thickening palpable around right knee joint. Single audible click noted on manipulation of right knee. Weight bearing maintained on affected limb. Lameness subtle on observation - 1/5 when walked with owner.Assessment:Suspected soft tissue injury to right stifle. Differential diagnoses include partial cruciate ligament tear versus muscle strain. Complete cruciate rupture unlikely given maintained weight bearing and ability to jump. Plan:Adv o options are increased sonservative management vs rads under GAO would not like to do rads as not likely to show much - adv for most HL issues tends to be good modality but yes sometimes negative studiesAdv risk with not finding out issue is she could have e.G.
