Reason: ACTH Stim Test Appointment Notes: requested by DL - avReason: ACTH Collect 1st sample 4 hours post morning Trilostane dose. Synacthen given I/V. (0.2ml I/V per 10 kg )Second sample collected 1 hr post ACTH.Laboratory: 0 hr> 31.0 nmol/L 1 hr> 40.1 nmol/LHas tipped over into iatrogenic Addison's disease / hypoadrenocorticism.Plan: stop Trilostane over the weekend.Continue with CARE follow up abdo U/S appointment.Did notice an infected skin lesion on LHS lateral LHL clipped - ulcerated tumour.Bathed in chlorhex and applied neocort and flamazine.DL gave convenia yesterday - should help.Review Monday depending on how going/improvement in appetite (O says will eat treats not meals) and restart Trilostane at lower dose (1ml SID or split 0.5ml BID) in 1 week or so depending on clinical response.
